DoBarter on Line is Pleased to announce Even MORE information about our 3rd Annual Convention. "Owners and Brokers Gathering". April 25, 2008 - April 27, 2008
We currently have over 80 Owner & Brokers Scheduled to attend.
The Location for this year is Orlando Florida in T$ once again. There are no direct cost just to attend the Gathering / Convention (call Diane for details).
Current Activities and Speakers are;
- A Very Informal "just say Hi" gathering/get together will be held Thursday 5 Pm till... April 24, 2008. Complementary food (Yes the Dragon's will be cooking more of their Smoked Turkey, Beef and Pork delicacies) with full Wet-bar, compliments DoBarter on Line.
- We have a DJ coming to the Buffet Dinner Friday and Saturday so there will be more Broker Networking Time! Lots of Networking Time always being important at DoBarter Conventions!
- Ron Whitney, Executive Director, IRTA will be a Speaker at our upcoming Convention. He will be speaking about Current IRS Barter/Trade Exchange tax laws. Ways and Means of dealing with the IRS. What is being done to improve the current Tax code as it relates to the Barter/Trade Exchange industry.
- We will also have our Media Panel of Experts Lead by Tim Pie of Biz 2 Biz Commerce doing a seminar on how to get and use Trade Media.
- There will be an afternoon of "Speed Dating" where (hopefully :)) very broker will have a few minutes of one on one time with every other broker.
- Debbie DeSousa of Barter Bucks
will be speaking on how to identify and manage member "dead wood" and how to convert them to productive (profitable) members.
- Catherine Cohen of Premier Barter will be speaking about new ways to collect more data from new clients and improve the personnel adds of existing clients.
- We will be devoting time to Discuss and Vote in/out Policy Changes as well as take nominations for this years new ethics/grievance board and vote them into office. Modifications to the software will be discussed and priorities for completions of changes will also be set.
- Paul Dragon will be spending time to take questions and explain various details of to use the system.
